D. Michael Durham

D. Michael Durham (he/him) is a housing-justice activist and circle keeper based in Nashville, TN. Born in Europe to a fundamentalist Evangelical family, his writing project Abolition Theology explores healing from religious trauma by indwelling a spiritual home in abolitionist imagination. He is the founder of Anticapitalist Solidarity for Nonprofit Workers (ASNW), an emerging coalition of burning and burnt-out nonprofit employees contending with the industry’s reinforcement of state violence.
