Armando Santiago Pintado

Armando is a research and policy analyst, organizer, and campaigner. He is currently coordinating the Puerto Rico work of the Hedge Clippers campaign, organizing and mobilizing government retirees in a fight against Wall Street vultures to cancel Puerto Rico's debt, under the banner of Construyamos Otro Acuerdo. Previously, Armando worked as a Legislative Director in the Puerto Rico House of Representatives, and at 32BJ SEIU, the largest building service workers union, in New York, as National Coordinator of Vamos4PR, a network of stateside labor, community, cultural, and human rights groups committed to fighting for justice for Puerto Rico and empowering the Puerto Rican diaspora.
