Organizing Strategy and Practice

Cameron Conner

Cameron Conner is a Professor of the Practice at the Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University. Originally from Eastern Washington, he comes to this work as a former organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) and with a background in international disaster relief. In this role, he has built coalitions between schools, faith-based institutions, nonprofits, and policymakers to address issues ranging from predatory payday lending practices and immigration reform to healthcare access and housing conditions. As a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, he also spent extensive time working with community organizers internationally in Spain, England, South Africa, the Philippines, and Peru.
