Cy Richardson

Cy Richardson is a Senior Vice President at the National Urban League, and a member of the League’s Executive Leadership Team. He co-leads the Programs Department and supports national efforts to create and measure economic and social opportunities for communities of color; ensuring that prosperity is widely shared regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or geography. Cy’s scholarly interests include economic inequality and intergenerational economic mobility. His commentary has been featured in the nation’s top publications, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Shelterforce Magazine among others, and he is a frequent speaker at a broad spectrum of events.
