Delvone Michael
Delvone Michael is a Senior Strategist with Working Families, where he leads the national organization's work on criminal justice reform and money in politics advocacy.
As the founding director of DC Working Families, he led a broad coalition of labor unions, community organizations, and activists to victories that raised the district’s minimum wage to $15 an hour and established the first public financing system in our nation’s capital.
Prior to joining Working Families, Delvone was a veteran political operative and labor organizer. In a career that has spanned the better-half of two decades, he has worked on over 100 campaigns, in more than 35 states.
Delvone received his B.A from Norfolk State University, his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law, and in 2012 he earned a dual Master’s in Campaign Management and PACs and Congress at the George Washington University.
