Holmes Hummel

Holmes Hummel, PhD, is the Executive Director of Clean Energy Works, a nonprofit organization focused on accelerating investment in the clean energy economy. Clean Energy Works is a member of the Democratizing Rural Electric Cooperatives Working Group of the Advancing Equity & Opportunity collaborative. Dr. Hummel is also a member-owner of an electric cooperative that has served hundreds of Holmes’s ancestors and relatives since the New Deal achieved rural electrification.
