Karina Pacheco del Río

Karina Pacheco del Río (she/her/ella) is a Puerto Rican storyteller and narrative strategist who serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Democracy at Work Institute (DAWI), where she leads national multi-city communications strategy advancing worker ownership and economic democracy. With an MBA in Marketing, roots in investigative journalism, and a practice grounded in language justice, she builds powerful narrative systems and messaging frameworks. Karina is also a member of the Movimiento Socialista de Trabajadorxs and the editorial team at Bandera Roja, grounding her work in internationalist, left political formation and a belief that storytelling can shift imagination, build power, and pave the way to collective liberation.
