Lindsay James
Lindsay James is a member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing Iowa's District 99. Before taking office in 2019, Lindsay was a college chaplain and a committed community volunteer. She was a co-founding Director of the Loras College Peace Institute, chair of the Community Development Advisory Board, a Dubuque County Extension Council Official, and board member for the NAACP and the Children of Abraham. Lindsay is passionate about tearing down the walls that prevent hard-working Dubuque families from thriving; mobilizing our community around the values that bring kids a secure future – a thriving economy, a clean environment, strong schools, and vibrant neighborhoods. Lindsay lives in Dubuque with her husband Christopher, who is a professor at the University of Dubuque, and their two children.
