Lynrose Jane Genon

Lynrose Jane Genon is a member of the Executive Council of Young Women+ for Peace and Leadership (YW+PL-PH), a network of young women and young LGBT leaders from the Philippines. She is also the co-Director of Project YACAP (‘Youth Amplifying, Co-Creating and Advocating Peace’), a youth leadership development program for peace which envisions building a network of young people in Mindanao with a view to nurturing the culture of peace. She is also a participant of UNDP’s ‘16x16’ Initiative that supports 16 activists from all over the world in advancing SDG 16. She is currently a Faculty Member at the Department of English of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Arts degree in Culture and Arts Studies. She focuses on Youth Leadership, Education and Peace.
