Maha Mirza
Maha Mirza is a researcher, writer, and a rights activist based in Bangladesh. She has earned her Doctoral Degree from Bielefeld University in Germany in Political Economy. She was an active member of the Save-the -Sundarbans Movement, which was one of the longest running anti-coal movements in the Bangladesh. She has also been actively participating against the Digital security Act 2018 passed by the Bangladesh government which has been infamous for its draconian clauses in curbing freedom of press and freedom of speech in social media. She also writes regularly in national dailies in Bangladesh.
