Mark Ortiz

Mark Ortiz is completing a PhD in Geography at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His PhD research focuses on transnational youth climate activism and the politics of climate change. He has worked as a labor and climate justice organizer for the last 8 years with organizations including United Students Against Sweatshops, CliMates, and the North Carolina Climate Justice Collective.
