Udit Thakur
Udit is a research associate with the Open Markets Institute. His research and writing focuses on a range of issues, including labor anti-monopoly, democratic process and institutions, corporate governance, and the history of political, legal, and economic thought.
Before joining Open Markets, Udit worked in a variety of roles for labor unions, community organizing initiatives, electoral campaigns, non-profit research institutions, and international news outlets. His past writing has appeared in Foreign Policy, The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Caravan Magazine, and other publications.
He has a B.A. in international relations and is pursuing an M.A. in Political Theory and Political Economy at NYU’s Gallatin School.
