Abraham Lugo Bello
Abraham Lugo Bello is a lifelong community organizer and first-generation Venezuelan immigrant whose work sits at the intersection of grassroots power, public policy, and building a reparative, representative democracy.
Beyond leading both local and national campaigns, he has dedicated his life to building programs and infrastructure that centers the voices of those historically excluded from decision-making. From his hyper-local origins in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada to on-the-ground organizing in New York City, Abraham’s work is rooted in the belief that lasting social change begins with tapping into the brilliance of lived experience and directly affected community members in the driver’s seat.
He is currently completing his MPA in Nonprofit Management at the City University of New York, Baruch College, driven by a deep commitment to reimagining public institutions as tools for equity, accountability, and collective liberation.
