Paulette Soltani

Paulette Soltani is the Political Director at VOCAL-NY, a grassroots organization that builds political power among low-income people impacted by HIV/AIDS, the drug war, mass incarceration, and homelessness. She studied Labor Studies at CUNY before organizing graduate employees at the United Auto Workers Region 9A and car wash workers at Make the Road NY. She also previously worked as a community organizer at MFY Legal Services, building campaigns and fighting for housing justice for tenants living in three-quarter houses. Paulette currently serves as an officer on the NYC Working Families Party Regional Advisory Council.
