Farzana Faruk Jhumu

Farzana Faruk Jhumu is a 23-year-old climate activist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a co-founder of Kath-pencil, an organization for teaching the unprivileged children of her area. Farzana's activism around the climate crisis started in 2017. She joined Fridays for Future, Bangladesh in 2019. Given the severe impacts Bangladesh faces from climate change the intense pollution in Dhaka, she believes she has no other option but to be a climate activist.
